Happy Plates Visual Education Project
Branding, Graphic Design, Illustration, Educational art
Happy Plates is an educational experience that helps public welfare projects teach food literacy through taste. It partners with local community kitchens by integrating food literacy lessons into existing local programs. It uses these services as a medium to deliver food aid and literacy in a dignified experience catered to and co-designed by the community it serves. The design project is a comprehensive kit that uses visual communication to provide the information needed to run this experiential project.
Happy Plates hopes to create unique hands-on lessons that result in the positive experience needed to create sustained and healthy relationships with food and nutrition.
